Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust ref. 16030 from 1987. Blue sunburst dial with “T Swiss T” marking is surrounded by steel “Guilloche” bezel and the legendary Oyster case in stainless steel. This pre-owned watch has been kept very well by the previous owner with a great service history, and the next service is scheduled approximately in 2027.
Full set with all the documents and material make this watch a great collector’s piece.
Cool story about this watch is that it was bought one day before Xmas in 1987 here in Finland, so it was most likely a great Christmas to someone special.
The watch is fully serviced at Official Rolex Service Center in 3/2022, and it is running within manufacturers’ criteria.
The watch comes with original outer and inner box, Rolex Oyster booklet and Rolex Datejust booklet, original guarantee paper from 1987, 2 x hangtag, Rolex calendar and “translation” booklet + service papers from “Hovisepät” dated in 3/2022.

Case material stainless steel.
Movement cal. 3035, mechanical automatic winding.
Bracelet Rolex Jubilee in stainless steel, ref. 62510 H, steel clasp marked J, steel end pieces nr. 555.
Watch has passed water resistance test to + 10 bar (= 100 m, waterproof).
Bezel diameter approximately 35.5 mm.
Size between lugs: 20 mm (bracelet attachment).
Fits wrist (diameter): 185 mm (18,5 cm) and less.
Functions: Time, date at 3, central seconds, automatic winding movement and screw in crown.
Watch condition
Dial and hands condition: good, some wear in the lume.
Case condition: moderate, fairly rounded with some scratches and dents. Not refinished by us, the case has marks of life. Damage in one of the case back teeth and lug at 11.
Bracelet condition: good, has some scratches and marks, fairly stretched between links. Not refinished by us.
Movement condition: good, professionally serviced at Rolex Official Service Center in 3/2022 and working as should.
Glass condition: good, plexiglass with tiny scratches.
Guarantee: This watch is running well and working as it should. It has been professionally serviced in 3/2022 in a Rolex Official Service Center. We offer 6 months guarantee for mechanical functionality for this watch.
Please note that like all mechanical watches, regular service and water-resistance testing are essential to long-term care and functionality. We suggest annual cleaning and water-resistance checks either with us or through an authorized service center.
The guarantee does not extend to damage caused by accidents or misuse - for example, drop or impact, moisture ingress due to an open crown or use in environments such as saunas.
Polus watchmakers’ commentary: This watch has been carefully checked at our watchmaking atelier for authenticity, overall condition, rate result and water resistance test in 10/2025. This Rolex Datejust is in good condition overall. The case has been refinished at some point (not by us) and has few small scratches. Most notable marks on the case are at the case back. The case is water resistant to 100 m. The movement has been professionally serviced at a Rolex Official Service Center in 3/2022 and it is running well and accurately, within manufacturers’ criteria.
