Pre-owned Speake-Marin “The Piccadilly” with the Serpent Calendar hand from the great Peter Speake-Marin himself. These don´t come around often to the pre-owned watch market, since their owners are more than willing to keep these to themselves. Steel case, enamel dial with roman numerals and blued hands are proud indications of traditional independent watchmaking. Overall, the watch is delicately combined with modern day and old-fashioned watchmaking. Two barrels in the automatic movement offer 120 hours of power reserve, which makes this a very convenient watch to use.
The watch is running well, but we recommend it to be serviced within 2 years. Please ask us more information of full service estimate. We can also make you an offer of the watch service or have it serviced at Speake-Marin service center for additional cost if wished.
The watch comes with its original outer box, leather pouch, microfibre cloth and original document of purchase from 2012.

Watch condition
Dial and hands condition: great.
Case condition: good, with some small scratches. Two strap screws have been replaced with original parts.

Movement condition: good, working as should.
Glass condition: Front sapphire glass good, case back sapphire glass AR-coating scratched/worn off partially.
Guarantee: This watch is running well and working as it should. It has not been serviced lately, and we recommend servicing within next 2 years. We offer 3 months guarantee for mechanical functionality for this watch.
Please note that like all mechanical watches, regular servicing and water-resistance testing are essential to long-term care and functionality. We suggest annual cleaning and water-resistance checks either with us or through an authorized service center.
The guarantee does not extend to damage caused by accidents or misuse - for example, drop or impact, moisture ingress due to an open crown or use in environments such as saunas.
Polus watchmakers’ commentary: This watch has been carefully checked at our watchmaking atelier for authenticity, overall condition, rate result and water resistance test. This Speake-Marin is in good condition overall. The case has not been refinished by us and has few small scratches. Most notable marks on the case are at bezel and middle part of the case. The case has passed water resistance test to + 3,0 bar (= 30 m, splash proof). The movement is running well and accurately, within manufacturers’ criteria.
